Getting Started
LogACog uses your device camera to scan and identify coins using AI. Simply tap Scan, capture both sides of your coin, and the AI will identify it automatically. You can then review and edit the details before saving to your collection.
Tips for Best Results
- Use good lighting — tap the flash icon to use your camera light
- Place the coin on a plain, dark surface
- Center the coin in the targeting circle
- Hold steady — the camera will auto-capture when focused
- After scanning, verify the date and mint mark using the zoom button
Free vs Pro
Free accounts include 25 AI scans per month, up to 250 coins, 5 coin sets, and full catalog tracking — manual check-offs, wishlist, and bulk match-all. Pro subscribers get unlimited scans, unlimited coins, unlimited sets, eBay integration, portfolio value tracking over time, and a public marketplace shop.
Account Management
You can manage your account in Settings, including editing your name, changing your password (via the login page "Forgot your password?" link), and deleting your account. Account deletion permanently removes all your data including coins, images, and profile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did the AI get the date or mint mark wrong?
Small text on coins can be difficult for AI to read accurately. Use good lighting and the zoom button on the review screen to verify and correct these fields before saving.
How are coin values calculated?
Melt values are calculated from live metal spot prices based on the coin's weight and material. Market values are AI estimates based on condition, rarity, and recent market data.
Can I use LogACog on multiple devices?
Yes — sign in with the same account on any device to access your collection. Your data syncs automatically.
